'ENTIRE MALFOY FAMILY DISAPPEARS':
It was discovered yesterday afternoon that every member of the ancient House of Malfoy has vanished, writes Rita Skeeter, executive correspondent. The notorious family is believed to have gone missing sometime between Sunday evening and Wednesday morning. Among the missing are noted former Death Eaters Lucius and Narcissa (nee Black), their son, Draco, his wife Astoria (nee Greengrass), and their son, Scorpius. Adding to the bizarreness of the family's disappearance is the absence of their seven house elves and all the portraits from their frames. Suspicions arose when when Draco Malfoy failed to appear at his office Monday and Tuesday, and multiple owl posts returned unanswered. Representatives of the Committee for Missing and Abducted Wizards (a task force within the Department of Magical Law Enforcement) found the ancestral mansion abandoned. A source within the department, who wishes to remain anonymous, told the Daily Prophet that it appears as though the family was interrupted during a meal, as their food was left half-eaten on plates. The same anonymous source informed this reporter that investigators suspect foul play, and do not expect to find any of the family alive. The DMLE refused to officially speculate on the undoubtably grim fate of the family, but it is rumored that significant quantities of blood and evidence of dark magic was discovered in the bedroom of Scorpius Malfoy, 14. The case has been shuffled to the Auror Department, with Auror Harry Potter as lead investigator.
Ten years after their mysterious disappearance, the Malfoy case remains unsolved. But Albus Potter refuses to believe Scorpius Malfoy is dead and is determined to find him, no matter the consequences. (submitted by mercury_marbles)
